In association with Jharkhand Government Tool Room, Usha Martin Foundation, our CSR wing, has taken a new initiative to impart various training programmes to women in rural areas like Masu and Silwai, located in Jharkhand. The training focuses on exploring opportunities in tailoring and fashion designing with a mission that ‘Self-reliant women will make a self-reliant village’.
This initiative has been taken by our CSR wing to empower the women of villages with a focus on their sustainable livelihood. By empowering the homemakers, our ultimate aim is to increase the family income and knowledge, which in terms will add happiness and gradual development in their life. This capacity building measure also helps villages to become self-reliant and eventually, strengthens our nation.
