Usha Martin’s LRPC strands are helping to build the global infrastructure of tomorrow!
The Vinh Phu Bridge construction project in Vietnam across the Lo River – recently completed on August 30th, 2023 – connects the Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc provinces, aiming to make transportation more efficient in the region while also helping to accelerate socio-economic development.
This extradosed cable-stayed bridge was installed with high-quality, galvanized Low-Relaxation-Prestressed-Concrete (LRPC) strands manufactured by Usha Martin, which withstand the dynamic load and impart structural strength & stability to the bridge. Our galvanized LRPC strands also provide additional protection against extremely corrosive environments. We are proud to be associated with such a remarkable project, helping bridge distances and lay the building blocks of our modern world!
Usha Martin offers LRPC strands of all available sizes and grades in conformance with major national and international specifications, which are used extensively worldwide across different applications. We specialize in manufacturing value-added, polymer-coated grease-filled unbonded LRPC strands for post-tensioning jobs and polymer-coated bonded LRPC strands for stay cable applications.
