Huisman, a long-standing and loyal client of De Ruiter Staalkabel and the Usha Martin Group, entrusted us with the supply of high-tech wire ropes for a key project in the offshore wind industry. As a specialist in advanced wire ropes and related installation services, we were tasked with providing a complete set of wire ropes for Huisman’s 2600T leg encircling crane, currently operating on board Cadeler’s WIND MAKER, one of the world’s most advanced jack-up wind turbine installation vessels.

The ropes were manufactured by Brunton Shaw UK, a division known for its expertise in high-tech wire ropes and its significant experience in the offshore wind and energy markets.
