Usha Martin

The Usha Martin Foundation recently organized an engaging and educational “Children’s Engagement in Science Projects & Exhibition” at the Government School in Tatisilwai, Ranchi. Designed for students in Grades VI to VIII, the event combined hands-on learning with fun while raising awareness about sustainable scientific practices.

Students explored real-world science through interactive activities, including:

  • Water Filtration – Understanding clean water access and eco-friendly purification methods.
  • Mini Biogas Plant – Learning how organic waste can be converted into renewable energy.
  • Compost Bin (Waste Decomposer) – Discovering the process of composting and its benefits for soil health.
  • Rainwater Harvesting – Demonstrating smart water conservation techniques.
  • Hydroponics – Exploring soil-less plant cultivation as the future of sustainable farming.

This initiative aimed not only to enhance scientific knowledge but also to inspire young minds to think innovatively about global challenges. By making learning interactive and enjoyable, the Usha Martin Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to education, sustainability, and community development.
