Dobra Chanti Bridge, India’s longest vehicular cable suspension bridge was recently inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Mr Trivendra Singh Rawat on 9th Nov’2020 at Tehri. Usha Martin is proud to be associated with this remarkable project built on a span of 440 meters.
The suspension bridge has been installed with 66 mm diameter locked coil bridge rope, designed, manufactured and supplied by Usha Martin. This marvellous bridge adds enormous value to the society of Tehri district, which is finally now open for public use. It is expected to reduce the travel time between Tehri and Pratapnagar from 5 hours to 1.5 hours.
