CSR Initiatives for Skill Development of Women in Rural Communities

Usha Martin

As part of its continued commitment towards women empowerment and sustainable livelihood development, Usha Martin Foundation organised a certificate distribution ceremony for the

Tailoring & Fashion Designing Training Program at Berwadri village in Jharkhand.

The initiative was aimed at equipping women from rural communities with practical vocational skills that can help create avenues for self-employment opportunities and financial independence.

The programme also highlighted the importance of skill development in encouraging confidence, encouraging entrepreneurship, and enhancing the participation of women in community development initiatives. The effort was appreciated by local representatives and community members for its contribution towards inclusive and sustainable growth.

Through such initiatives, Usha Martin Foundation continues to promote community development by enabling opportunities for learning, skill enhancement, and self-reliance among rural women.
