In its continued commitment to enhancing community well-being, the Usha Martin Foundation recently conducted a series of health and nutrition sessions in villages across Ranchi. The initiative specifically targeted adolescent girls and expecting or nursing mothers, focusing on raising awareness about essential health practices, balanced diets, and hygiene.
Under the guidance of Dr. Mridula Kashyap, the sessions witnessed strong community participation and successfully improved awareness around personal and maternal health. Adolescent girls diagnosed with anaemia during health screenings were provided with free medication and counselling.
As part of its sustained efforts to strengthen rural healthcare, the Foundation will now organize similar sessions at regular intervals in various villages, ensuring continued care and support for families in need.
Through such initiatives, Usha Martin remains dedicated to building healthier and more resilient communities.
