Usha Martin Foundation Honoured with the Village Development Initiative Award

Usha Martin

We are pleased to announce that our CSR wing, Usha Martin Foundation, has been honoured with the Village Development Initiative Award, recognising our sustained efforts in driving meaningful change in rural communities. The prestigious award was presented by Hon’ble Sanjay Seth, Defence Minister of State, GoI, at a special ceremony organised by The Times of India to commemorate 25 years of Jharkhand’s statehood.

The award recognizes the community-driven change and sustainable development that we’ve strived to implement in villages surrounding our factory. Our initiatives focus on:

Empowering Communities: Through targeted programs in education, healthcare, and livelihoods, we work towards bridging the gap between trained and untrained individuals, helping rural populations thrive.

Innovative Solutions: From solar-powered villages and women-led cooperatives to smart farming techniques, our approach fosters sustainable solutions that address local challenges effectively and efficiently.

Inspiring Change: This recognition is not just an accolade; it serves as a powerful call to action for others to replicate these success stories. It shows that even small efforts, when backed by dedication, can lead to big transformations.

On behalf of Usha Martin, Mr. Mayank Murari, Head of Usha Martin Foundation, received the award at this distinguished event. The honour reaffirms our belief that inclusive rural development is a collective journey, where every effort contributes to long-term impact.
