This popular industry event brought together global experts to explore the latest advancements across various domains, including wire rope technology and its applications in the lifting and rigging sector.
A highlight of the summit was a technical presentation by Ms. Laura Lombardi, Managing Director of Usha Martin’s Global Development Centre in Italy. Her session, “The Effectiveness of Proper Lubrication on the Service Life of Steel Wire Ropes,” explored how lubrication practices can significantly enhance wire rope performance, safety, and longevity. The presentation encouraged active engagement, with participants exploring key technical considerations and industry best practices.
